Putnam County Government: Carmel History 5K Walk This Monday June 28th.

History Tour will kick off at 10am from the Tilly Foster Rail Trail parking lot and end at the Historic Putnam County Courthouse.
Along the way, speakers from the Putnam County Historian’s Office, Veterans Service Agency, Town of Kent Historical Society, and Putnam County Cooperative Extension will be providing historical facts about the area. At the courthouse, the historian’s office will have a tent set up with light refreshments for participants to enjoy as Don Widman from the Travel Channel leads a discussion.

The event is free and open to the public.
