Putnam County Sheriffs Participate In Holiday DWI Crackdown
Research shows that high-visibility enforcement can reduce impaired driving fatalities by as much as 20 percent.
PUTNAM COUNTY, NY — Putnam County will participate in the statewide STOP-DWI Holiday Season Crackdown Enforcement Effort Impaired Driving Crackdown.
It runs through Jan. 1, the Putnam County Sheriff's Office said.
The sheriff's office will be joined by the Town of Carmel Police Department and the Kent Police Department in the special enforcement.
