Putnam Man Killed In Motorcycle Crash In Connecticut

NORTH HAVEN, CT — A Putnam County man was killed in a motorcycle crash on I-91 in North Haven on Wednesday night, according to Connecticut State Police.

Police said Gabriel E. Ramos, 33, of Carmel, New York, was operating a 999 Kawasaki motorcycle on I-91 North near Exit 9 in North Haven around 10 p.m. when it struck the metal beam guardrail in the right shoulder.

Ramos was ejected from the motorcycle, according to police. Ramos was taken to Yale-New Haven Hospital where he later died, police said.

The crash is being investigated, and any witnesses are asked to call Trooper Daniel McCue at 203-393-4200.
