Putnam Valley Man Faces Drug Charges In Carmel
He was pulled over by a Putnam Sheriff's Deputy for an expired inspection sticker.
CARMEL, NY — A Putnam Valley resident who was pulled over by a County Sheriff's deputy for an expired inspection sticker now faces drug charges in Carmel.
At 8:40 a.m. Jan. 20, Deputy Shane Rossiter pulled over a 2008 Dodge Charger at Route 6 and Simpson Road for an expired inspection sticker.
Police said the officer found the driver, Todd Carmody, in possession of cocaine, suboxone, and marijuana.

Carmody now faces charges with 2 misdemeanor counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7 th degree and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana.
He was also issued a summons for an Uninspected Vehicle.
