Overhead utility work will affect northbound and southbound traffic. Anticipate delays and plan accordingly.

Westchester and Putnam County motorists — and Connecticut drivers too — should expect five rolling traffic slowdowns along Interstate 684 between 8 p.m. Wednesday night and 1 a.m. Thursday.

Crews will be doing overhead utility cable work, weather permitting, between Exit 6 (Route 35) and Exit 9 (Interstate 84), in the towns of Bedford, Lewisboro, North Salem and Southeast.

The work will affect northbound and southbound traffic.
