Sewers Eyed For Brewster, Mahopac To Encourage Business Growth

The proposal is being considered to bolster economic activity and involves partnering with Danbury, according to The Putnam Examiner.

CARMEL, NY - Putnam County Legislators are considering a proposal to create two sewer districts in along the Route 6 corridor in Brewster and Mahopac in an effort to boost business activity locally, according to The Putnam Examiner.

The proposal would involve connecting with an existing sewer system across the Connecticut state line in Danbury, the paper added.
