Snow, Rain In Hudson Valley Forecast
Precipitation overnight could make for a slick morning commute.

HUDSON VALLEY, NY — Snow showers are possible on Sunday throughout the region, and then a more steady snow- or rainfall will begin late Sunday or early Monday in the Hudson Valley, the National Weather Service predicts. The wintry mix could affect the Monday morning commute.
"Any snow that does fall will have the potential for creating slick travel overnight and possibly impact the Monday AM commute," said Alex Marra and Bill Potter of Hudson Valley Weather. "Temps on Monday moderate quickly so if snow manages to make it down to lower elevations, its impacts will be short lived."
The Sound Shore of Westchester will see plain rain, the NWS said. Up the valley, we will have a wintry mix of mostly snow and rain, though communities in Putnam and Orange counties may see some sleet. Some light snow accumulations are possible, mostly at higher elevations. For the rest of Monday into Tuesday, rain will continue across most of the area. Again, a brief wintry mix of mostly snow and rain is forecast at times across the far interior parts of the region.
