HAZARD...Whiteout conditions. Zero visibility in snow and blowing snow. Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

While the NWS included northern Westchester in its alert, it also said the squall appeared to be moving through Putnam. This snow squall will be near Brewster around 10:05 a.m. and Danbury around 10:20 a.m.
