Taconic Parkway Lane, Bryant Pond Road Ramp Closures

The work will affect north- and southbound lanes between Pudding Street and the Putnam/Westchester border.

PUTNAM COUNTY, NY — Lane and ramp closures on the Taconic State Parkway northbound and southbound between the Westchester/Putnam County line and Pudding Street will begin July 6.

They'll last until about July 15.

The work will take place between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. as crews perform construction activities, weather permitting.

Motorists should follow the posted detours and anticipate possible delays.

  • Working from the Westchester/Putnam County line northward, sections of the northbound lanes are expected to close nightly between Tuesday, July 6 and Thursday, July 8, and Sunday, July 11.
  • Working from Pudding Street in a southerly direction, sections of the southbound lanes are expected to close nightly on Monday, July 12 and Tuesday, July 13.
  • The Exit 23 (Bryant Pond Road) entrance and exit ramps will close on or about Wednesday, July 14 and Thursday, July 15.

Remember, fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. Convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver license.
