Teen Accused Of Shooting, Hitting Car On Route 22
The 18-year-old was sent to Putnam County Jail, New York State police said.
PATTERSON, NY — An 18-year-old faces felony weapons charges after a shooting incident on Route 22.
New York State police said they received a report from a motorist on April 16 who had heard shots while driving — and then found what looked like bullet holes in the back door on the driver's side.

Police investigated, and found a teen target shooting with an "unsafe downrange."

The 18-year-old faces charges of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 2nd degree, a class C felony; Reckless Endangerment in the 1st degree, a class D felony; Prohibited Use of a Weapon, a class E felony; and Environmental Law violation Illegal Discharge of a Weapon, an unclassified misdemeanor.
The teen was arraigned before the town of Patterson Court and remanded to the Putnam County Jail in lieu of $25,000 cash bail or $50,000 secure bond pending a future court date, state police said Tuesday.
