UPDATE: Tonetta Lake Beach COVID Rules

There are coronavirus pandemic-based rules for 2020.

UPDATE — Due to the weather Tonetta Lake Beach is closed Saturday.


SOUTHEAST, NY — Summer hours begin Saturday at Tonetta Lake Beach in Southeast.

The beach will be open Monday through Friday from noon to 7 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. through Sept. 7, which is Labor Day.

Remember, new beach passes are required each year. Children under 4 year of age do not need a pass.

  • Tonetta Lake will be opened to RESIDENTS ONLY. No GUESTS will be permitted.
  • All residents without season permits must present proof of residency at the gate. NY STATE DRIVERS LICENSE.
  • A total of 75 residents (adults and children) will be permitted to enter the lake at any given time.
  • CLOSED: Playground, basketball court, picnic areas, slides, no concessions and no BBQs.
  • Social distancing will be strictly enforced. Each adult and child must present a mask to cover their face in the event that six feet of social distancing cannot be maintained.
