Fire Rages For Hours At Sunset Park Warehouse, FDNY Says
More than 140 firefighters battled the fire on Brooklyn's 45th Street.

SUNSET PARK, BROOKLYN — A four-alarm fire broke out inside a Sunset Park warehouse on Wednesday morning, drawing a large response from the New York City Fire Department, a department spokesman said.
Firefighters arrived at 265 45th St., located near Third Avenue, shortly after 9 a.m. to battle the blaze, fire officials said. The response was eventually upgraded to a fourth alarm, which means that more than 140 fire and ems personnel were on scene, an FDNY spokesman said.
An FDNY spokesman said that the building where the fire broke out is a commercial warehouse containing a lot of "materials," but could not offer more specific information. The fire was not declared "under control" until after 2 p.m., fire officials said.
