Five Suspects Sought Following Industry City Shooting: NYPD
A man was shot in the foot in the Industry City complex on Jan. 13, police said.

SUNSET PARK, BROOKLYN — Police are looking for five men, pictured above, believed to be connected to a non-fatal shooting in Sunset Park that took place on Jan. 13.
At about 10:15 p.m. on that day, the victim, a 25-year-old male, was in an elevator with the suspects inside 274 36th St., a building in the Industry City complex, when a verbal fight began, police said. After the group exited the building, the victim was shot once in the right foot. The suspects fled, while the victim was taken to Lutheran Hospital, treated and released.
Detectives describe all five suspects as black males. The images above were recorded by a security camera in front of 274 36th St.

This shooting took place in the NYPD's 72nd Precinct, which covers Sunset Park, Windsor Terrace and South Slope. From the beginning of the year through Jan. 22, a total of 64 major crimes were recorded by the 72nd, according to official statistics, compared to 57 during the same period in 2016.
The NYPD recorded one shooting incident with one victim during the period, the same as during the same time frame last year.
