This isn't the first time a bank on Fifth Avenue was in danger of being robbed.

Just a few months ago, a man tried to rob the nearby Chase Bank on Fifth Avenue by also showing a note demanding cash. That man ran away without any money.

Police did not say whether the latest incident is connected to the other attempted robbery, which happened back in January.
