Industry City Outdoor Concert Series Returns With 35+ Shows

SUNSET PARK, BROOKLYN — A summer series that will bring concerts every weekend to Sunset Park's Industry City is back for the second time, and organizers have put out a list of the dozens of artists just in time for ticket sales on Friday.

The Summer Series at Industry City will bring more than 35 concerts and dance parties to the complex from June until September. It is put on by City Farm, the same group responsible for other Brooklyn venues such as The Bell House and Union Hall.

"We are thrilled to be returning to Industry City with an expanded summer lineup of shows," said Music Programming Director Rachael Pazdan. "Outdoor events are central to summer in NYC and we are excited to grow our partnership with Industry City by bringing even more outdoor programming to Brooklyn."

This year, the summer-long festival will kick off with a funk and soul duo that is fresh off their performance at Coachella's main stage last year. Genres for the next 12 weekends will include rock, soul, electronic and jazz music, all culminating in an Afrobeat send-off for the series in September.

The series will also feature "global dance parties" including a monthly event with Everyday People and others with Fleetmac Wood, Drake Night, Crew Love featuring Soul Clap, Wolf + Lamb, and a free event with The Lot Radio Party.

Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday on Eventbrite, organizers said.
