SUNSET PARK, BROOKLYN — A man broke into a Sunset Park building and took nearly $3,000-worth of power tools from an apartment inside earlier this month, police said.

The man got into the building near 41st Street and Seventh Avenue through an unlocked basement window around 5:45 p.m. on Dec. 11, police said. Once he got inside, he took $2,730-worth of power tools and left.

Three days later, the owner of the power tools realized that they were missing and told police, cops said.

Police released surveillance video of the man this week that was taken inside the building.
