New 57th Street Building To Have 3 Apartments And 'Community Facility'
The development plans were filed for 716 57th St. by representatives of owner Xiao Hong Zhu.

SUNSET PARK, BROOKLYN — A new four story residential building with a "community facility" on the first floor is planned for a currently vacant lot at 716 57th St., as first reported by NY Yimby.
According to plans filed with the city's Department of Buildings at the end of January, the new building will be 42 feet high, and will feature three apartment units above the community facility. The residences will take up 2,925 square feet of space, while the community center will take up 1,080 square feet.
DOB records list the property's owner as Xiao Hong Zhu, but a message left at a phone number provided was not immediately returned on Wednesday.
