New Blink Fitness Location Coming To Sunset Park
The new Sunset Park location will occupy a full building with three floors and "top-of-the-line" equipment.

SUNSET PARK, BROOKLYN — Sunset Park gym rats will have soon another workout option in the neighborhood.
Blink Fitness — which touts its clean facilities and friendly vibes — has announced the signing of a lease in Sunset Park, its first location in the Brooklyn neighborhood. The new location at 5109 Fourth Avenue, between 51st and 52nd streets, is slated to open in the fall of this year.
The gym is set to occupy a full building, with 15,000 square feet of space between three floors. According to a press release from the company, Blink Fitness members can look forward to "top-of-the-line" cardio and strength equipment, certified personal trainers and a spacious, modern design that is equal parts colorful and bright.

"We’ve created a unique member experience," Bill Miller, Blink Fitness' vice president of real estate, said in the release. "We're excited to expand our footprint in Brooklyn to include Sunset Park and provide more local residents with access to a high-quality gym at an affordable price."

Sunset Park is already home to a small handful of other gyms, including Richie’s Gym and Brooklyn Health & Performance. Blink Fitness, recently ranked by Time Out as one of the best gyms in New York City, has announced its intention to expand throughout the area as part of a company plan to open 300 new gyms over the course of five years.
