Massive and Modern Co-Working Space Opening in Industry City This November

The Camp David, opening Nov. 1, is renting offices, desks and floating work stations, and comes packed with modern amenities.

SUNSET PARK, BROOKLYN — The Camp David, a new co-working space under construction in Industry City, will open Nov. 1, as previously reported by DNAinfo.

The business, located at 237 36th St. (on the first floor of Building 3 in the IC complex) is the project of Mazdack Rassi and Erez Shternlicht, previously known for running Milk Studios.

Pitching itself as "a mindfully-designed, collaborative environment for creative entrepreneurs, freelancers, and small businesses," The Camp David is offering private offices starting at $800 per month per desk; assigned desks starting at $550 per month; and floating desks starting at $40 per day.

Amenities will include furnished work spaces, conference rooms, lounges, a kitchen, tech support, a gym and shower area, and a concierge.

Carey Waggoner, a spokesman for the business, confirmed Tuesday that The Camp David's initial space will be 40,000 square feet, but that it has the option to grow up to 300,000 within IC.

Waggoner declined to provide information on tenants that had already signed up, saying that more information would be released closer to launch. He also declined to state how many jobs The Camp David would create, or provide the wages and benefits attached to those jobs.

A spokeswoman for IC said Tuesday that she had no information on The Camp David's workforce .
