New Hub For Small Manufacturing Opens At Brooklyn Army Terminal
The new hub will give four tenants space in the Brooklyn Army Terminal along with programs to support growth, officials said.

SUNSET PARK, NY — A new hub dedicated to tiny manufacturing companies started in the Brooklyn Army Terminal this week, offering up space and programs to the growing businesses, officials said.
The New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC) launched the "Micromanufacturing Hub" at the terminal with four businesses taking up space inside including a pour over coffee maker and a smoothie producer, a spokeswoman for the Brooklyn Army Terminal said.
The hub offers the companies between 1,500 and 5,500-square-feet of space inside the campus for manufacturing along with speaker series, networking events, happy hours and more to spur future growth, the spokeswoman said.

The businesses will also have the ability to take more than 100,000-square-feet of space inside the Brooklyn Army Terminal down the line if they need it.
The hub started with four tenants leasing space: Green Mustache which makes organic smoothie and snacks; Pour Steady which builds automatic pour over coffee stations for shops; Mudo Fashion which contracts sewing, cutting, fusing and care label printing for clothing companies; and Rvinyl which designs and makes vinyl vehicle wraps.
