SUNSET PARK, BROOKLYN — A new cafe that opened in Industry City's food hall will offer its customers health advice along with their lattes and herbal teas.

Supernatural, which joined the complex's food hall last week, is the first freestanding cafe for owner Rachelle Robinett, who is a herbalist and holistic health practitioner from Brooklyn.

The cafe will bring a unique blend of Robinett's specialities — giving natural medicines to go along with practical life advice, she said.

“It’s a centralized hub where people can learn about health and herbs directly while connecting with us and each other,” said Robinett, who grew up on a farm. “Living in New York comes with a certain amount of stress, so I’m excited to expand my wellness practice into a welcoming space to serve the people who arguably need it most.”

Customers can stop in for a menu of infused tea, herbal lattes, grab-and-go snacks and unique "wellness products," like Robinett's own line of herbal gummies, which include soothing herbs to relieve anxiety.

The private health counseling will be done in a nook in the 500-square-foot space. The cafe also has seating for eight to 10 people.

“There is so much interest in living and eating well, but it can be difficult to cut through the hype," said Jim Somoza, Industry City’s director of development. "Rachelle is the real deal, and with her experience in translating wellness and making it accessible, her café brings a special service to our community.”

Robinett first opened Supernatural as a cafe installation in the Lower East Side last year.

The Industry City location can be accessed through the Food Hall entrance at 274 36th St.
