D, N and R trains were stopped as cops tried to find a person who was walking on the tracks at the 36th Street station, MTA officials said.

SUNSET PARK, BROOKLYN — A person walking on the subway tracks near 36th Street caused the MTA to shut down D, N and R service to a large part of the line in Brooklyn during Thursday's morning commute.
Just before 9 a.m., MTA officials Tweeted that there were delays and service changes to the three subway lines as NYPD worked to remove an unauthorized person who was walking on the tracks. A few minutes later, though, transit officials announced that they would shut down all service, both northbound and southbound, between 59th Street and Atlantic Avenue so NYPD could continue the investigation.
The MTA also turned out power to several of the stations to help safely find the person, according to NYCT Subway Tweets.
