On Veterans Day Monday, November 11, leadership at Richmond Center, the 300-bed nursing and rehabilitation facility on Tompkins Avenue, paid tribute to their veterans by handing out Certificates of Merit, playing patriotic music and being treated to a full course lunch.

The ceremony included two very distinguished military personnel, James H. Wassmuth, past post commander of the Cespino-Russo American Legion Post #1544 and U.S. Army Staff Sergeant & Recruiter Nathaniel E. Reyes. Both gentlemen spoke to their veteran brothers and shared various stories from years ago. Both military personnel received plaques by the Richmond Center, thanking them for their service.
