Sunset Park Cinema Club Returns With Crafts And Movies For Kids
The Industry City screenings, starting on Saturday, feature a craft workshop followed by a screening of a children's movies.

SUNSET PARK, NY — A film screening series that pairs craft workshops with children's movies returns to Industry City this weekend for the third year in a row, organizers announced.
tThe Sunset Park Cinema Club, which will run throughout February and March, has craft workshops for children run by local groups followed by movie showings of popular kid's flicks, organizers said.
The free event kicks off on Saturday with a workshop run by BRIC Arts and a screening of the animated movie "The Princess and the Frog." The series continues on Feb. 10 with Valentine's Day crafting by Project Kids paired with a showing of "Beauty and the Beast."

The screening return on Feb. 17 with a showing of "The LEGO Batman Movie" and a craft workshop by Project Kids. Organizers said they plan to announce the other showings for the rest of February and March later this month.
The Cinema Club first launched in 2016 and is run by Industry City and Rooftop Films. Each workshop, at 274 36th St., starts at 10 a.m. with the movie beginning at 11 a.m.
