Sunset Park's 5th Avenue Street Festival is Just One Week Away

Vendors: Have you submitted your application to the 5th Avenue Street Festival yet?

SUNSET PARK, BROOKLYN — The Sunset Park Business Improvement District will be hosting its annual 5th Avenue Street Festival on Sep. 18, and there's still time for vendors to sign up to participate.

The festival, started in 1999, will run from 44th Street to 59th Street on 5th Avenue, and will take place between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m.

The BID estimates that 50,000 people will attend the event, where local businesses will be selling food and numerous other goods. Two stages — one at 44th Street and the second at 54th Street — will feature live entertainment, while kids can enjoy inflatable rides that will fill an entire block.
