Video: Sunset Park Thieves Cut Supermarket Door Open, Steal $3K
Two men used a bolt cutter to break into a Sixth Avenue supermarket at 4 a.m., police said. They took $200 worth of lottery tickets and $3K.
SUNSET PARK, BROOKLYN — Police are looking for two men who stole thousands of dollars from a local supermarket last month after cutting the door open with a bolt cutter.
The two thieves were caught on surveillance video removing the locks on the front gates of King Mei Supermarket, found at 5101 Sixth Ave., at 4 a.m. on Friday, June 28. The two then used a pry bar to force the front door open, police said.
Once they got inside, the men took $200 worth of lottery tickets and $3,000 from the grocery store. They ran away in an unknown direction, police said.

Police described the two men as being between 30 to 40 years old and said they were last seen wearing hooded sweatshirts.
