Video: Teen Gets Robbed After Falling Asleep On Sunset Park Stoop
The 19-year-old woke up, and then went back to sleep, as a man was stealing $400 and his iPhone from his back pocket.

SUNSET PARK, BROOKLYN — A 19-year-old whose wallet was stolen as he slept on a Sunset Park stoop nearly woke up to catch the man stealing from his back pocket, video shows.
The teen was sleeping on the stairs of a residential building near Sixth Avenue and 56th Street last Tuesday when a man, who seemed to be passing by, found him there just after 5 a.m. The man, who police are now looking for, took the 19-year-old's iPhone and wallet out of his back pocket as he snoozed on the steps.
The 19-year-old seemed to wake up in the middle of the robbery, but quickly went back to sleep, video shows.

The man made off with $400 cash that was in his wallet and the phone.
Police describe the thief as standing approximately 5'8" tall, weighing 180 lbs., with full beard, brown eyes and black hair. He last seen wearing black pants, a blue short sleeve shirt, black sneakers and a light blue backpack.

He is not the only thief from Sunset Park police are looking for.
Police are also searching for a man who made off with $1,200 after he broke into an apartment near Seventh Avenue.
The man, who appears to have been caught on camera inside the home, used some sort of tool to break into the apartment near 50th Street and Seventh Avenue around 11 a.m. last Monday. He took $1,200 once he was inside the apartment before running away.
Police described him as being in his mid-40s, standing about 5'8" and weighing about 200 lbs.
