The City of Syracuse is partnering with American Red Cross to host a blood drive open to employees and the community on Thursday, Dec. 10.

The City of Syracuse is partnering with American Red Cross to host a blood drive open to employees and the community on Thursday, Dec. 10 from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. at the City Hall Commons Atrium, 201 E. Washington Street. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the need for blood donations continues to increase. The public will have an opportunity to help save lives and supplement the shortages.

To help those in need of blood transfusions and receive free antibody testing, the public can go to redcrossblood.org and enter “syrcityhall” to schedule an appointment, or call 1-800-733-2767. Donors will be eligible to win an Outdoor Living Experience prize, consisting of a propane powered pizza oven, fire pit, outdoor heater and stipend towards propane.
