Mayor Walsh Announces Road Reconstruction Project On Bellevue Avenue In Syracuse

The road will be closed to all traffic during active milling and paving but will reopen at other times.

Syracuse Mayor Ben Walsh announced a road reconstruction project on Bellevue Avenue on the City’s southwest side. Crews will mill (remove the top layer of existing pavement) and repave Bellevue Avenue from South Geddes Street to Bellevue Terrace beginning Saturday, June 19.

The project is expected to be completed in about ten days. The road will be closed to all traffic during active milling and paving but will reopen at other times. Detours will be marked. Actual project start dates and timeframes are contingent on favorable weather.
