Mayor Walsh Announces Road Reconstruction Project On East Seneca Turnpike
Milling is expected to be completed this week with paving and restriping following next week. Temporary lane closures will occur.

Mayor Walsh announced a road reconstruction project beginning Wednesday, May 19 on E. Seneca Turnpike on the City’s South Side. Crews will start milling (removing the top layer of existing pavement) on the E. Seneca Turnpike hill from Brighton Avenue to South Salina Street.

Milling is expected to be completed this week with paving and restriping following next week. Temporary lane closures will occur. Detours will be marked. Actual project start dates and timeframes are contingent on favorable weather.
