Mayor Walsh Announces Road Reconstruction Project On Summit Avenue In Syracuse

Syracuse Mayor Ben Walsh announced a road reconstruction project beginning Saturday, June 5 on Summit Avenue in the Strathmore neighborhood. Crews will mill (remove the top layer of existing pavement) and repave the Summit Avenue hill from Ruskin Avenue to Crossett Street.

The project is expected to be completed within a week. Temporary lane closures will occur. Detours will be marked. Actual project start dates and timeframes are contingent on favorable weather.
