Syracuse University Fraternity Suspended
15 members of the Theta Tau fraternity at Syracuse University have been suspended due to hazing.

Greek life at Syracuse University is huge and very populated amongst students attending SU. After a leaked video that showed fraternity members of Theta Tau hazing, it has brought to action by authorities. Pledges were using racial, mocking gay sex, sexual assault of disabled people. Video showed members of the Theta Tau fraternity using the "n" word and simulating rape as well as making fun of those with intellectual disabilities.
15 members of the Theta Tau fraternity at Syracuse University have been suspended due to hazing. The students will lose their financial aid benefits while suspended.
The fraternity apologized in a statement, saying that it wanted to add context to the video. "The skits towards racisms were to roast an active brother", who is a conservative Republican.

Attorney representing the 15 students, Karen Felter, made a statement, "The 15 students have been suspended indefinitely for one to two years."
This video ignited school campus protest to ban Theta Tau forever.
