Syracuse Valve Installation Project On The 400 Block Of Montgomery Street To Impact Evening Water Service In The Area
Water crews will shut off water service on the 400 block of Montgomery Street beginning at 5 p.m.

The City of Syracuse Department of Water is scheduled to install an isolation valve on a water main in front of the Civic Center and at the intersection of Montgomery Street and E. Jefferson Street the evening of Wednesday, Apr. 21. Water crews will shut off water service on the 400 block of Montgomery Street beginning at 5 p.m. Residents and businesses on the 400 block of Montgomery Street can expect to experience water disruptions from 5 p.m. to approximately 10 p.m.

The intersection of Montgomery Street and E. Jefferson Street, in addition to the one-way block of Montgomery Street from, E. Jefferson Street to Madison Street, will be reduced to one lane along Montgomery Street. Work signs will be in place to redirect traffic. The sidewalks will remain open to pedestrians.
