City of Syracuse Department of Water crews are working to repair a water main break on the 200 block of Catawba Street. Both the 200 block of Catawba Street and the 100 block of Gebhardt Avenue are closed to all traffic. Residents within the vicinity of Catawba Street between N. Salina to N. Townsend Streets, and Gebhardt Avenue between Catawba and E. Division Streets, will experience water shutoffs until approximately 3 p.m. today.

Traffic is anticipated to be impacted into the afternoon. Detour signs will be in place to redirect traffic.
