8 Sleepy Hollow Buildings To Get Makeovers
The real estate portfolio was acquired as the result of a bankruptcy proceeding.
SLEEPY HOLLOW, NY — Eight buildings in Sleepy Hollow will be getting makeovers thanks to an acquisition by Procida Funding & Advisors LLC.
Developer and financier Billy Procida acquired the 76-unit portfolio out of Chapter 11 bankruptcy. There are 68 apartments and eight stores in the deal, according to a spokeswoman.
Procida plans to immediately implement a facade beautification program including painting all the buildings, cornice entrance repairs and the addition of lots of flowers.

“We are excited to be in Sleepy Hollow at this point in history, with the completion of the new Tappan Zee Bridge and the billion dollar project by Diversified at the old waterfront GM plant,” Procida said. “Sleepy Hollow is about to realize its full potential.”
Procida has a 36-year career as a developer. He was the recipient of the New York City’s “Developer of the Year Award” and the State of New York’s “Governor’s Excellence in Housing Award.”

Interior renovations of the halls and backyard garden will begin this spring. Four storefronts are currently available for rent.
HSC Management will manage the properties, and the architectural firm Environetics will assist in the interior design, architectural design, planning and project management.
