The sugary glazed deliciousness that is the donut should certianly be celebrated. So much so that the fried dough ring has its own holiday.
National Donut Day is Friday, June 7 and donut giant Dunkin' Donuts is offering customers a free donut of their choice with the purchase if any beverage.
