Commuter Alert: 2 Lanes of the Sprain Closed in Elmsford for Emergency Repairs

Seek alternate routes. Expect delays on the parkway.

Two right lanes on the southbound Sprain Brook Parkway between Route 100C and Interstate 287, in the town of Greenburgh, are closed for emergency repair work, state transportation officials said.

DOT is going to make a crossover and use one northbound lane, so both north and south-bound traffic will be affected.

The closure is expected to last for about two weeks. Expect delays and seek alternative routes.
