It looks like there might be more on the way.

TARRYTOWN, NY — The peregrine falcons nesting high above the river on the Gov. Mario M. Cuomo Bridge have laid four eggs, two of which — so far — have hatched.
The Twitter account for the bridge posted Wednesday that the first chick of the season hatched.

Peregrine falcon chicks are called "eyases." Typically, three to five eggs are laid in the early spring, with the eyases hatching one month later.
A falcon can reach speeds of more than 200 mph in a controlled dive, making it the fastest member of the animal kingdom, according to experts.
The raptors fly north or south depending on the seasons.
Progress on the falcons and their offspring can be followed on Twitter.
