Goosefeather In Tarrytown To Close For Summer
The Tarrytown House Estate where the restaurant is located is closing down to reorganize and reassess.

TARRYTOWN, NY — Goosefeather, the restaurant at the Tarrytown House Estate, will be closing down for the summer.
In a post on Instagram, celebrity Chef Dale Talde said the entire property will be closing its doors to the public "in an effort to reorganize and reassess after a difficult year due to the Covid-19 pandemic."
The restaurant will be closed from June 1 to Aug. 27.

"We will be reopening our doors to the public on August 28th and very much look forward to seeing all of your faces again then," Talde said.
The restaurant announced there will be a "See You Later" shindig on the front lawn from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. May 30.
"It will be a 'free food until we run out, booze for purchase' affair," Talde said.
Goosefeather opened in September 2019.
Talde, who was on "Top Chef," crafted a menu featuring seasonal modern Chinese food.
After the coronavirus shut the restaurant down in March 2020, he was able to reopen for inside and outdoor dining in June.
Talde competed two times on Bravo's "Top Chef." He also competed on "Chopped," "Iron Chef America" and "Beat Bobby Flay."
His first cookbook — "Asian American" — was published in September 2015.
