Greenburgh School Board Trying To Remove Trustee

Terry Williams lost a bid for re-election in May and is soon to be out of office in any event.

GREENBURGH, NY — The Greenburgh Central School District Board of Education is trying to remove a longtime trustee even though he lost a re-election bid in May and is coming to the end of his term.

Terry Williams was accused of revealing executive communication, undermining the search for a new superintendent and bullying other board members, the Journal News reported.

If Williams is removed by the board, his term will only be shortened by a day or two, but state law would prevent him from running for district office for a year.
