Greenburgh Voters Deciding Democratic Candidate For Supervisor

Incumbent Supervisor Paul Feiner lead challenger Tasha Young with 80 percent of the vote tallied.

GREENBURGH, NY — In the town of Greenburgh, voters went to the polls Tuesday to decide who would be the Democratic candidate for supervisor in the November election.

Incumbent Supervisor Paul Feiner was being challenged by Tasha D. Young.

At 11 p.m. Tuesday, with 80 percent of the vote reporting, Feiner is in the lead with 1,858 votes to Young's 1,461, according to unofficial results from the Westchester County Board of Elections.

Feiner was first elected supervisor in 1991. Prior to that, he was a county legislator. He has a law degree from St. John's University Law School.

Young's most recent role was chief of staff and policy expert at the New York City Council. She has more than 20 years of community activism, leadership and engagement.
