Lane Closures Continue on the Taconic Tuesday, Wednesday

Lane closures are expected to continue on the Taconic State Parkway between the Sprain Brook Parkway and Route 117 on Tuesday and Wednesday.

They'll take place from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. while crews perform maintenance activities.

Expect delays and seek alternate routes where possible.

Use caution when traveling through the work zone area and pay particular attention to flaggers and all traffic control devices.

Remember, fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. In accordance with the Work Zone Safety Act of 2005, convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver license.
