Lane Closures Suspended Near Cuomo Bridge For Holiday

Roadway construction will resume after Presidents Day.

TARRYTOWN, NY — Temporary lane closures will be suspended through Monday, Feb. 18 on the Thruway and Gov. Mario M. Cuomo Bridge to accommodate travelers during the Presidents Day holiday weekend. Some work may continue behind permanent concrete barriers or for emergency repairs.

The construction suspension supports Gov. Andrew Cuomo's Drivers First initiative, which prioritizes the convenience of motorists to minimize traffic congestion and travel delays due to road and bridge work, according to a Thruway spokesman.

A detailed schedule of Thruway lane closures throughout the holiday weekend is available here.
