Louis A. DeFillippo, 90, formerly of Tarrytown, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 12, 2019 with his family by his side. Louis was born in Mount Vernon on May 20, 1929 and was the son of the late Anthony and Philomena (Yazzetta) DeFillippo.
Louis was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp during the Korean War. He was a longtime member of the Ossining Gospel Assembly where he formerly served as the superintendent of the Sunday School. Louis was a retired Sales Representative for the Metropolitan Life Insurance Co. in Yorktown Heights.
Mr. DeFillippo was the loving husband of Theresa; the beloved father of Donna Brown, Cathy Pompei and Mark DeFillippo; he was also survived by his five grandchildren and his two great-grandchildren.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Dorsey Funeral Home in Ossining. The funeral service will be held on Monday at 10:00 am at the Ossining Gospel Assembly Church, 199 Croton Ave., Ossining. The interment will follow at Dale Cemetery in Ossining.
