St. Clair M. Marshall, 96, of Sleepy Hollow, died on Thursday, July 24, 2015.
He was born in 1918 in St. George, SC, to St. Clair and Pritchard (Shuler) Muckenfuss. He attended University of South Carolina and USC School of Law.
He had a distinguished career in the Navy during WWII, serving in the Pacific aboard the USS Swift Arrow; later in the Port Director’s Office in Shanghai after the war.

He moved to New York City to attend Columbia Business School, and worked for Price Waterhouse, NBC, and as a Vice President of North American Philips, a position he held until his retirement. While at Philips, he was acting president of Chapel Music, and was involved in the management of several folk rock acts.
He married MaryAnn Suske in 1961 and had four children: John (Meredith) of New York, NY; David (Treeah) of Hawaii; James (Amber) of Lake Hopatcong, NJ; Mary Elisabeth (Stephen) of Jersey City, NJ; and eight grandchildren. He leaves a brother, William Muckenfuss, and a sister, Rachel Barnes.

He loved his family, popular music of all genres, and ballroom dancing.
