Former Sleepy Hollow resident Joan Elizabeth McBride, of Eustis, FL, passed away at age 80 on June 25. McBride was born on May 4 in Copake, NY to Eugene and Evelyn Lawrence Baker.
Baker graduated from White Plains High School and lived throughout Westchester during her life before retiring to Florida. She worked for Brunschwig & Fils in Valhalla for many years.
She is predeceased by her husband Samuel McBride and is survived by her children Dona, James, Randall, Kevin, Jeffrey and Timothy. She has 12 grandchildren and one great grandchild, and is also survived by her brothers Ansell and Bobby Baker.

Visitation will be held at the Coffey Funeral Home on Friday between 2 p.m. at 4 p.m. and again at 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral services are at the Union Church Pocantico Hills on Saturday at 10 a.m., which will be followed by the internment at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery.
