Obituary: Virginia E. Moore, 92

Virginia E. Moore- 92- of Tarrytown and formerly of Dobbs Ferry passed away on Monday, April 15, 2019. Virginia was born in Burlington, Vermont on December 26, 1926 and was the daughter of the late Doris Barber and Raymond Thomas.

Virginia was raised and educated in Springfield, VT. She was the former manager of the Vermont Bureau of Tourism in NY City. She married Dr. Charles Moore in New Market, Virginia on September 16, 1962. Dr. Moore predeceased her in 1983.

Jinny was an avid traveler of the world with her husband, Dr. Moore. She enjoyed playing Golf, Bridge and was a former volunteer at Dobbs Ferry Community Hospital.

Jinny is survived by her two children: Carla (Eric) Blaha and Conrad (Sandra) Lohutko; ten grandchildren: Christopher, Charles, Conrad, Eric, Kurt, Matthew, Karen, Sara, Janet and Amy, 2 step-grandchildren; Jeffrey and Susan, and 8 great-grandchildren. She is pre-deceased by her stepson C. Donald Moore.

Memorial Visiting hours will be held on Thursday April 25th from 6:00 to 8:30 pm at Dorsey Funeral Home in Ossining. The Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 pm. at Dorsey.
