Pedestrian Dies After Being Hit By Car In Greenburgh

This is the eighth pedestrian accident in recent months in the town.

GREENBURGH, NY — Another pedestrian was hit by a car in Greenburgh. The incident occurred on Route 119, which is also known as Tarrytown Road, around 12:30 p.m. Friday.

Police said the man died Friday afternoon, the Journal News reported.

On Thursday, a 14-year-old boy was struck on Central Park Avenue near Campus Place.

Greenburgh Supervisor Paul Feiner said this was the eighth pedestrian accident in recent months in the town.
