Pedestrian Killed By Car Friday Identified

The town supervisor said this was the eighth pedestrian accident in recent months in the town.

GREENBURGH, NY — Police identified the pedestrian who was struck and killed by a car Friday in Greenburgh.

Graciano Calderon, 74, was crossing Tarrytown Road, which is known as Route 119, Friday when he was hit, the Journal News reported.

The incident happened around 12:30 p.m.

On Thursday, a 14-year-old boy was struck on Central Park Avenue near Campus Place.
