TARRYTOWN, NY — An accident involving a pedestrian and a motor vehicle was reported on Twitter by the Village of Tarrytown Police Department.

The public is being asked to avoid Route 9 and Sunnyside Lane.

According to the police, the area will be subject to road closures while the matter is investigated.
